EVENT INFORMATION & RULES


Kickin' Corona Junior High and High School Rodeo
June 15 - 18, 2021
Golden Spike Event Center
1000 N. 1200 W. Ogden, Utah

 

All 2021 5th & Under, Junior High, and High School Students are eligible to participate. NHSRA Rules will be followed, unless otherwise stated.

Events for High School members will include:
Bareback, Saddle Bronc, Bull Riding, Barrels, Poles, Breakaway,

Goat Tying, Steer Wrestling, Tie Down and Team Roping

 

Events for Junior High members will include:

Bareback (on ponies), Saddle Bronc (on ponies), Bulls, Barrels, Poles, Boys and Girls Breakaway, Boys and Girls Goat Tying, Chute Dogging, Tie Down, and Team Roping.

Jr High Boys can do either Boys Breakaway OR Tie Down, not both!

NOTE: Junior High Members can choose to move up and enter High School Events except for the Rough Stock!

High School Awards will be as follows:

  • Custom Saddles awarded to each event winner 

  • Buckles awarded to the top three placing in each go and the average

  • All Around Saddles and Buckles to the top Cowboy and Cowgirl.

  • Buckles to the Reserve Cowboy and Cowgirl 

Junior High Awards will be as follows:

  • Custom Buckles awarded to each event winner 

  • Buckles awarded to the top three placing in each go and the average

  • All Around Saddles and Buckles to the top Cowboy and Cowgirl.

  • Buckles to the Reserve Cowboy and Cowgirl.


    
To Enter: To enter, click the Enter Button. Fill out online information, print release wavier form, sign before a notary, scan or take a photo and email to intermountainicebreaker@gmail.com
You must pay through PayPal when you enter!

*Your entry will not be valid without payment or the wavier form!
 

Stalls will be extra $10 per stall if not ordered in advance.
            No overnight tie ups.        

                
Entries will close on WEDNESDAY June 8th!

NO REFUNDS WILL BE GIVEN AFTER ENTRY CLOSING DATE!

Entries will be accepted on a first come first serve basis.

 

There will be two Go’s and a Championship Short Go Round in each division, High School and Junior High with the top 15 from each event.

THE $90 ENTRY FEE IS A SINGLE FEE THAT WILL COVER THE FIRST AND SECOND GO'S AS WELL AS THE SHORT GO FOR QUALIFIERS.


Event champions will be awarded on the average of all three Go’s

.

Optional Rodeo Jackpotting is available for a total of $80 which will be split between the 1st, 2nd, Short Go and Average.

100% of jackpot fees will be paid back. If entering the Team Roping jackpot, both partners must enter.

 

Event tickets will be sold at the door. Contestants will have free entrance with their back number.

 

         Ticket prices

                         Adult Day $6.50                  Child Day $3.25

                        Adult Short Go $10.75         Child Short Go $5.50

                        Adult  Season  $23.75         Child Season $1075

 

**Any cancellations, prior to the entry deadline, must include a written doctor or vet slip and will be subject to a cancellation fee.

Additional Events

Separate Barrel, Pole, Tie Down, Breakaway, and Team Roping Jackpots will be held in conjunction with the rodeo as well as a Goat and Dummy Roping. Please see schedule for more information.
